Thanks to all the Scouts that came out today for the parade. It was cold but I think we had a lot of fun. The kids we handed candy to seemed to be appreciative and also had a good time.
Special thanks to Mr and Mrs Hookey for hosting the Pack at their home before the parade and providing hot chocolate, coffee, and donuts for us all. Thanks!
It was cool to see the other community groups in the parade. There were quite a few Scout groups from the area in the parade along with our Pack. That was great to see all the different Scout groups.
Here is the view looking towards downtown during the parade.

Pack 933by John Durkin with no comments yet
It is that time of year again. Our Pack collects food for area food pantries here in the Tuslaw community.
Meet at the Epworth Church for some donuts and hot beverages, get your map and bags, and head on out!
Come dressed in your CLASS A Uniform and wear coats etc etc that are weather appropriate for the day.
Bag Out: November 2nd, from 9 am till we are done.
Bag In: November 9th, from 10 AM till we have all food returned to the church, sorted, and distributed to the food pantries.
This is a worthy service project. In past years, we have delivered a full, heaping over pick up truck bed of groceries to each of three local church food pantries each year. We hope to continue this streak this year. With the community’s continuing help, we will!
We are helping our neighbors and friends have a better holiday. That’s what Scouting is all about. Service. And maybe a donut or two…
So Scouts, come on out and help… friends and neighbors please donate to our food drive by filling the bag at your home or bringing a donation to the Epworth Church on Saturday November 9th from 9 am till noon.
